Meet Erica Wagner.
SUNDAY 11 - 8I asked my buddy Matt McGuire about the new owner of the Pub he started after he finished university in my town. He told me that Erica was the hardest working person he knew. She was at the restaurant when she was 12 helping Matt in the Kitchen. I met her as the new owner at just 23. She was pregnant for her first, Ariya, (born February 4, 2015). She wants to bring PEI to your plate. She hires staff based on how they will bring their Island to you. The food is incredible. This restaurant is a find... it's not on the trendiest beach. This is where you experience the freshest seafood, and have someone grab you to the kitchen to learn to shuck an oyster. This is where you don't get overcharged to experience PEI. This project, like Cabot Trail Biker, will change her restaurant. Please share in its future success brought onto it by bikers like you and me. I put it out there. I said it was THE place. Experience Erica's Backwoods Burger. Let's accomplish what her dad says in the video, and help her thrive in PEI, her home. All the while, bikers will be well fed with a food Experience, Erica will fill her seats, and a Canadian Charity will benefit each year.
Backwoods Burger (902)831-2992 1327 PORT HILL STATION ROAD, TYNE VALLEY, PE, C0B 2C0 Hours during the riding season: MONDAY - WEDNESDAY 12 - 9 THURSDAY - SATURDAY 12 - 10 |
The map above shows your way to Tyne Valley, where the restaurant is. The route starts as you get off the bridge in Borden, and ends in Woods Islands, where you can catch the ferry to Nova Scotia. Many riders leave the Cabot Trail, take the ferry to PEI, and take this province in on their way back home.
